CUP INFO: If you like hot and warm drinks, personally I prefer a ceramic mug for their compatibility with microwave ovens, and their heat resistant handles. (Raise your hand if you have tiny, sensitive hands like me.) This cup’s handle will heat up if you put very hot coffee, tea, or soup in it. Cold or warm liquids are no problem.

But! On the upside, these enamel cups are VERY lightweight, hold 12 oz in a more petite cup (the walls of these cups are thinner than those of a ceramic cup), and they won’t shatter if you accidentally throw one at someone. They’re durable and lightweight, which makes them popular for hiking, camping, or just walking around with one in your backpack.

And, yes, they look CUTER than their ceramic mug cup relatives!

• Holds EXACTLY 12 oz of some sort of liquid

• White enamel coating with a polished stainless steel rim

• The cup itself comes from somewhere in China.

• Hand-wash only; don’t put this in a dish-washing machine! (If you want a dish-washing machine-safe mug cup, please look at the ceramic mug cups.)

• Don't use this in microwave ovens. (If you want a microwave oven-safe mug cup, please look at the ceramic mug cups.)

• Don't heat liquids or food directly in the mug—an open fire or burner may discolor the nice, white coating.

This item is made as soon as you place an order, which is why it takes a bit longer to deliver it to you. Making things-on-demand (instead of in “bulk”) also vastly decreases efficiency while increasing per-unit costs, but it does help reduce overproduction and waste, which we think is very important! :-)
